Pyaara Sa Gaaon Song Lyrics and Translation
From the movie – Zubeidaa
–FEMALE–
Hm hm hm hm hm hm hm hm hm hm hm – 2
Ah ha ha aa aa aa aa aa
Door kahin ek aam ki bagiya – 2
Far away somewhere is an orchard of mangoes
Bagiya mein hai thandi chhaaon
In the orchard is a cool shade
Chhaaon mein ek kachcha rasta
In the shade is an unpaved road
Raste mein pyaara sa gaaon
On the road is a lovely village
Gaaon mein ek chhota sa ghar
In the village is a small home
Ghar mein ek ujla sa aangan
In the home is a bright courtyard
Aangan mein chandan ka palna
In the courtyard is a sandlewood cradle
Palne mein chanda sa munna
In the cradle is a moon-like child
Munne ki aankhon mein nindiya
The the child’s eyes is sleep
Door kahin ek aam ki bagiya
Far away somewhere is an orchard of mangoes
Bagiya mein hai thandi chhaaon
In the orchard is a cool shade
Chhaaon mein ek kachcha rasta
In the shade is an unpaved road
Raste mein pyaara sa gaaon
On the road is a lovely village
Neele neele aasmaan mein taaron ka hai ek nagar
In the blue blue sky is a city of stars
Jagmag jagmag ek taare par ek shehzaadi ka hai ghar
One one sparkling star is a princess’s house
Chupke chupke raat ko uthke dhyaan se dekhe koi agar
If one secretly wakes at night and looks carefully
Jhilmil jhilmil hai taarein mein us shehzaadi ke zevar
In the stars is that princess’s jewelry, twinkling
Shehzaadi ithlaaye, shehzaadi yeh gaaye
The princess gestures, the princess sings this
Door kahin ek aam ki bagiya
Far away somewhere is an orchard of mangoes
Aadhi raat jab ho jaati hai, jab duniya so jaati hai
When it becomes midnight, when the world is asleep
Taaron se shehzaadi utarke munne ke ghar aati hai
Getting down from the stars, the princess goes to the child’s home
Meethe meethe saare sapne apne saath voh laati hai
With her she brings all sweet sweet dreams
Sote munne ki palkon pe yeh sapne voh sajaati hai
Upon the lashes of the sleeping child she adorns these dreams
Sirhaane voh aaye, haule se voh gaaye
She comes to the head of the bed, softly she sings
Door kahin ek aam ki bagiya
Far away somewhere is an orchard of mangoes
