Sochata Hun Ye Kya from movie Hamaari Yaad Aayegi – Hamari Yaad Aayegi revolves around a young man Ashok, newly relocated to a city, staying in rented accommodation owned by a young widow Hari Devi. He befriends an orphan girl Manorama and her brother Bulva. The story follows the heartbreak Manorama causes Ashok due to her love for money.
Unako Yeh Shikayat Hai Ke Ham from movie Adalat – Nirmala lives with her maternal uncle, his wife, and her widowed mom, studies in an Arts College, has a sweetheart in wealthy Rajinder R. Singh, who she plans to marry. Disagreements flare up at home when her aunt wants her to get married to an uneducated villager, Nirmala refuses to marry, instead gets a job at a Sada Bahar Nurtya Vidyalaya, which turns out to be a front for a brothel, landing her in prison. She gets off with a not guilty verdict, but is turned away from home, and the shock kills her mom. She attempts to find work, but is pursued relentlessly by a pimp, Pandit Kedarnath, who wants her for himself. Nirmala ends up as a Governess with none other than Rajinder’s mom, where both lovers get married secretly. Rajinder then leaves for Britain, leaving behind a pregnant Nirmala. When the Singhs find out about her pregnancy and the man responsible, they refuse to believe her and throw her out straight into the arms of Kedarnath. She runs away and takes shelter working as a nurse in a private hospital where she gives birth to a baby boy. Kedarnanth once again shows up here, forcing the Trustees of the hospital to fire her. She flees with her child, and ends up at a brothel where she must accept this profession or see her child starve to death. She manages to smuggle the child to a kind-hearted doctor Renuka Roy. Years later, her son has grown up and is now the Public Prosecutor, and one of the first cases that he is to try is none other than that of Nirmala herself – a prostitute – who is now accused murder.
Too Pyar Kare Ya Thukaraye from movie Dekh Kabeera Roya – Mohan, Pradeep, and Ranjeet are three struggling and unemployed artistes, who share the same rooming house. Mohan is a singer; Pradeep paints; while Ranjeet is an writer in a newspaper. Three young women, Rekha, Geeta, and Kalpana are friends, and of marriageable age. While Rekha wants to marry a painter, Geeta wants to marry a singer, and Kalpana a writer. Things don’t quite work out that way, and Kalpana is paired with Mohan; while Rekha is paired with the writer, and Geeta falls in love with a painter. The three male friends decide to help each other out by using their talents, and utter and hilarious chaos reigns
Chunari Sambhal Gori Udi Chali Jaye Re from movie Baharo Ke Sapne – In a small industrial town near Bombay lives Bholanath, who works at the local mill, and is the proud husband of Gauri, a daughter, Champa, and above all his son, Ramaiya, who is a graduate in the arts faculty, – the only one in this town who has attained this degree. But times are hard, and jobs are difficult to come by. When Bholanath loses his job, Ramaiya decides to find employment, and does so as a menial worker in the same mill his dad used to work. Ramaiya is very popular with his co-workers and they soon elect him as their new union leader. This puts Ramaiya in conflict with the Management of the Mill, headed by the owner, Kapoor, who has ordered that Ramaiya be eliminated post haste. But Ramaiya is determined to address the workers’ grievances, and he gets himself framed for theft; has the police on the lookout for him, and so Ramaiya goes into hiding. When Ramaiya does not show up for a workers’ meeting, some believe that he has been bought by the mill management, and they decide to take the matters into their own hands – by burning the mill down, killing Kapoor and his family, and getting into direct confrontation with the local police, who have been issued orders to shoot-at-sight.
Is Mod Se Jate Hain from movie Aandhi – J.K. is a hotel Manager in a scenic location in India. One day he gallantly comes to the rescue of a drunk daughter, Aarti, of a politician, and chooses to be discrete about it. When she recovers, she and he fall in love; get married in a small marriage ceremony, have a daughter, and thereafter differences arise to such an extent that they decide to separate. Years pass J.K. and Aarti meet again when she is an established politician, both are still attracted to each other, but she does not want her name to be tarnished and stigmatized as a “separated” woman. Songs including “Is mod se jaatey hai”; “Tere bina zindagi Se shikva toh nahin;” and “Tum aa gaye ho” noor aa gaya hai” sung by Kishore Kumar and Lata Mangeshkar.
Mere Dil Mein Jo Hota Hai from movie Aap Ke Deewane – After completing their schooling; childhood inseparable friends, Ram and Rahim gets enrolled in a college for further education where they excel in studies. This does not anger well with their fellow collegian, Kundan who has them framed for sexually molesting a female whereby both gets rusticated from the college. With no other means to survive both assume the identity of a male and female and gets employed as tutors to a multi-millionaire retired colonel, Thakur Vikramjit Singh’s daughter, Sameera. Eventually both fall in love with Sameera with each wanting her for himself but it is up to Sameera to choose her prospective life partner.

Mai Piyaa Teree from movie Basant Bahar – The only son of the Royal Astrologer, Narsin (Om Prakash) namely Gopal (Bharat Bhushan) is not interested in astrology but in music and songs, much to the dismay of Narsin. Gopal’s talents are well-known and he could become the Emperor’s Chief Musician if he wins in the contest. His rivals live next door, and in order to win the approval of the emperor (Chandrashekhar), they poison Gopal’s drink, and Gopal loses his voice completely. His mom (Leela Chitnis) is sorry at the loss of his voice. A young dancing girl, Gopi (Nimmi) takes interest in Gopal, and through her help and a hard knock on the head, he recovers his voice. But Gopal’s challenges are far from over, and he will be called upon to prove his worth, as well as his association with Gopi.
Maahiya Teri Kasam from movie Ghayal (1990) – Ajay Mehra lives with his elder brother Ashok and sister-in-law Indu. He leaves for Bangalore in order to train to become an international boxer. On his return to New Delhi, he finds that Ashok is missing. He lodges a complaint at the police station but to no avail. He decides to search for his brother himself but still does not find him. Later on, Ashok’s body is found and Ajay is accused of killing him as well as having an illicit relationship with his sister-in-law. While in jail, Ajay makes friends with some other hardcore convicts, who are good at heart. Then one day, they escape the jail by overpowering the guards. Ajay only has one thing on his mind: to kill Balwant Rai, a wealthy, powerful and corrupt businessman who had used Ashok’s business as a front for his illegal activities. Ajay’s new friends and his love interest Varsha, a journalist, help him in his mission.
