Tera Mera Pyar Koyi Aaj Kal Ki from movie Dada – After wealthy Dharamdas marries Tara, they are blessed with a son, Moti, but his business suffers. His assistant Bihari convinces him that his wife is responsible for his bad luck, and as a result Tara and her son are asked to leave. Tara solely looks after Moti, renames him Jeetu, and they live in a shanty house in a slum area. Jeetu grows up, studies engineering and gets a job as a mechanic with Alibhai Motorwala. He meets with and falls in love with Kamini, who also comes from a poor family. Then one day Kamini’s brother, Pyarelal, gets killed and the killer hides in Kamini’s house, sheltered by an unknowing Mrs. Pyarelal. When Kamini confides in her bhabhi that she would like to get married to Jeetu, both of them go to Jeetu’s house, meet his mother, in order to arrange the marriage. Tara has already met Kamini and approves of her. Just then Jeetu enters the room and is introduced to Kamini’s bhabhi – who instantly recognizes him as the man she had unknowingly sheltered, and who allegedly killed her husband. Marriage talks end here, Kamini refuses to believe Jeetu, he is arrested by the police, tried in court and sentenced to be hanged. The question remains, why did Jeetu kill Pyarelal?

Dharam is taught to be a hoodlum, but wants to focus on becoming a singer, while Ranjit has taken to alcohol, gambling, and a life of crime under J.K. himself. After his discharge, Shankar finds to his delight out that Ashok has brought up Ranjit and both are stage actors. Then his world descends into chaos when he finds out that Ranjit is in fact Dharam, while his very son, Ranjit has taken to a life of crime. Angered at Dharam, he beats him up and asks him to be a hoodlum like himself, he also beats up Ranjit and asks him to obey Ashok and follow in his footsteps. Watch as things spiral out of control when a vengeful J.K. abducts Shankar and holds him hostage – the ransom – the dead body of Ashok – at any and all costs – and the person chosen to carry out this task is none other than Dharam!!

Laxmi is happy as she feels that she will be able to find her parents with her new-found wealth. Then all of Laxmi’s relatives descend on them, their neighbors show their greed by severely beating up Anwar, and Laxmi runs away, followed closely by people with only one motive – steal the lottery ticket from her. Laxmi seeks the help of the police, and Inspector James is asked to look after her. Then a man claiming to be her father comes to take possession of her, but Laxmi remembers him as the man who had refused to recognize Radha and refuses to go with him. Subsequently, Mahesh returns with Radha, much to Laxmi’s delight – which only turns to sorrow and heartbreak when she finds out that it is not Radha but a prostitute by the name of Girja – who is assisting Mahesh to get the lottery ticket.
