Ankhiya Gulabi Jaise from movie Beqasoor – Sunil Verma works as an Assistant with Professor Jagmohan Sinha, a Scientist. After Jagmohan conducts a successful experiment, which will benefit India, there is an accident and Sunil loses his vision. Jagmohan, his daughter, Varsha, and her finance, Dr. Anand Bhatnagar, undertake to look after Sunil and make a number of efforts to restore his sight – all in vain. Then Jagmohan gets abducted, and his kidnappers want the formula so that they could sell it to other countries for a profit. The Police Commissioner assigns this matter Inspectors Ajit and Shekhar, who meet with Sunil, Varsha and Anand. Then three homicides take place, that of Khatri, his wife, and Deepa, Anand’s Secretary. Both Ajit and Shekhar suspect Anand, and accordingly confront him, but he denies any involvement in these killings. The question remains: Who killed these three, and will Jagmohan be ever found alive.
Mai Tujhase Milane Aayee from movie Heera – Heera lives in a small rural town in India with his father, a Magistrate, and housewife mother. He meets with the town’s moneylender Dhaniram’s daughter, Asha, both of them fall in love, and hope to get married soon. Before that could happen, Changu’s daughter is killed, and the police are notified. They find evidence at the scene of the crime, and link it to Heera. As a result Heera is arrested, held in prison, tried in Court, found guilty, and sentenced to be hanged. Heera protests, pleading his innocence, but all in vain, as no one believes him, including his very own dad. In prison, Heera escapes and runs off into the ravines and it is from here emerges a new Heera – a bandit – who is cold-hearted, ruthless, and will not hesitate to kill anyone – his only goal in life is to clear his name, by finding the real killers – that is if they and the police, who have launched a manhunt for him, give him enough time to do so.
Mere Dildaar Ka Baankpan from movie Deedar-E-Yaar (1982) – Two close and devout Muslim youth, Javed and Akhtar, are childhood pals. They both unknowingly fall in love with the same woman, Firdaus. Since Akhtar is wealthy, and comes from a noble family, the girl’s dad, Nawab Mirza, decides that she should marry Akhtar. She is reluctant to do so, but finally agrees when she is threatened. Akhtar has not yet seen Firdaus, but finds out that Javed also loves her, and he decides to marry her, and promptly divorce her by saying “Talaq” three times, so that Javed can marry her later. Javed is delighted with this idea and goes along with it, not knowing that Firdaus is Akhtar’s dreamgirl, and he may not be able to keep his word and divorce her.
Dur Kahee Too Chal Dil Raha Hai Machal from movie Bedard Jamana Kya Jane – Widower Barrister Ashok lives a wealthy lifestyle in Bombay, India along with his sister-in-law, and a young son, Ramesh. One day while driving, he accidentally runs over a woman, brings her home, cares for her until she recuperates and tells him that her name is Kamla and is homeless. He finds that Ramesh likes her, so he marries her. After a few months, he is delighted when she becomes pregnant. This delight sours considerably when he finds out through his friend, Pran, that Kamla had been frequenting the OK Club. Then he witnesses her abusing Ramesh. Finally, he drives her out when Ramesh is killed by poisoned milk. Kamla gives birth to a baby boy but Ashok takes over sole custody and names him Mohan. Years later Mohan has grown up and is now an advocate and is in love with a girl named Radha. Even though Radha comes from a poor background, Ashok has no objections and goes to meet with her parents to arrange their marriage. Watch what happens when he finds out that Radha’s mother is none other Kamla.
Dekh Liya Maine Kismat Ka from movie Deedar (1951) – Young Shamu lives with his widowed mom, and works in the orchard of Daulatram Rai. He is very friendly with Mala, Daulatram’s only child, and they often go horse-riding. While riding one day, Mala and Shamu get thrown down, and Mala is injured. Her enraged & snobbish dad fires Shamu and forbids Mala to ever see him again. He and his mom leave to re-locate elsewhere. On the way, his mom passes away, leaving a grieving Shamu in the care of young Champa and her uncle. A depressed Shamu runs away, straight into a sand-storm, and loses his vision. Blind and dependent, Shamu is looked after by Champa and her uncle. Years later, the uncle has passed away, but Shamu still lives with Champa and makes a living by singing. Champa adores him, but Shamu is unable to get Mala out of his mind. Dr. Kishore hears him sing, is pleased, and offers to restore his vision free of cost. When Shamu regains his sight, his only thought is to find Mala and re-kindle their love. Will fate bring his sweetheart to him, or will he continue his quest for the rest of his life?
Chalke Teri Aankho Se Sharab Aur Jyada from movie Aarzoo (1965) – After completing his medical studies, Gopal (Rajendra Kumar) takes a break and goes on holiday in Kashmir. There he meets with Usha (Sadhana) and both fall in love with each other. Back home, Gopal has a close friend, Ramesh (Feroze Khan), whose dad (Brahm Bhardwaj) wants him to marry Usha as an arranged marriage. Ramesh likes Usha and is willing to marry her. In the meantime, Gopal finds out that Ramesh is going to be married to Usha and decides not to pursue his romance with Usha. When Ramesh and Gopal’s sister, Sarla (Nazima) convince Gopal that Usha only loves him, he reveals a dark secret to them, which may convince them that he is not right for Usha.
Tumhare Hain Tumse Daya Mangate Hain from movie Boot Polish – Toddlers Belu and Bhola share an uncertain future when their mom dies in the plague, and their dad is imprisoned. They are then left in the uncaring care of Kamla, their aunt, who moonlights as a prostitute. She is cruel,abusive and forces them to take to a life of begging on the local trains, on beaches and crowded areas in Bombay. This is how the toddlers grow up, they want to lead a respectable life, and with the help of bootlegger John, they get a shoe-shine kit and start shining shoes on busy sidewalks and railway platforms. Their circumstances face more uncertainty when Kamla finds out about their new-found profession, beats them up and throws them out of the house. They temporarily seek shelter with John, but when he is arrested, they have to fend for themselves. Things become bad to worse when Bombay enters the monsoon season, when people do not get their shoes shined; then the duo are separated – with Belu ending up with a rich family, and when she asks about Bhola, she is told that he is dead. The question remains is Bhola really dead, if not, what has been his fate?
Bekhudi Me Sanam Uth Gaye Jo Kadam from movie Haseena Maan Jaayegi (1968) – Indian Army Officer, Kamal (Shashi Kapoor), and Archana (Babita) get married but shortly thereafter he is called to the front as war has broken out. Once there, he meets with Rakesh – his look-alike – who plans to kill Kamal and take his place, but Kamal resists and emerges as the winner. To escape prosecution/court martial, he runs from the front and returns home. Army personnel think Rakesh has become a deserter and also think that Kamal is missing in action and believed dead. The army personnel notify Archana, who is thrown in a dilemma, is it Rakesh or Kamal that she has been spending time with?
