Kabhi Ithla Ke Chalte Ho from movie Aap Ki Parchhaiyan – A family drama with a special focus on two generations of the Chopra family. Dinanath Chopra lives in a small tenement with his wife, and two sons Baldev, and Chandramohan. Dinanath re-finances his house in order to get Baldev to study further and be a doctor, and also gets him married with Rekha who comes from a very wealthy family. Chandramohan studies in college, and has a sweetheart in the form of the gorgeous Asha. Asha lives with her mom, and dad, a sort of quack. Differences in the Baldev emerge and multiply. Baldev and Rekha move to their palatial house. The birth of a baby boy to Rekha does lighten things up a bit, but not for long. Dinanath loses his eyesight in an accident and becomes blind. Chandramohan goes out of town to look for employment, leaving his sick mother and blind father at the mercy of an uncaring daughter-in-law, and eventually the older couple are forced to leave Baldev’s house. Chandramohan returns and is unable to locate them. What will be the fate of his parents in an unfriendly, cold, and heartless city?

Phoolon Se Mukhade Vaali from movie Aasra – Amar Kumar is an eligible young man, and his parents feel that he should get married. They introduce him to Bishambernath, his wife, and their daughter, Roopa. Amar also gets to meet Roopa’s cousin, Shobha, who is treated like a servant in their house, and is attracted to her. When Roopa finds out that Amar is showing an interest in Shobha, she physically slaps and beats Shobha senseless. Shobha, afraid of another beating from Roopa, keeps away from Amar. Amar has to go abroad for two or three years. He choses not to make any commitment as to marriage until his return. Shortly after he leaves, Roopa and her mom beat up poor Shobha again and have her thrown out. She relates this story to Amar’s parents’, who feel sorry for her and allow her to live at their house. Things take a turn for the worse for Shobha, when Amar’s mom finds out from Roopa’s mom, that Shobha had been asked to leave as she is pregnant, with the identity of the father unknown.

Vijay is quite unhappy with his grandpa about his engagement with Hong Kong returned Aarti Verma, the only daughter of wealthy magnate Roshanlal Verma. For Vijay is in love with an unknown young woman he saw at the airport. Unable to get her out of his mind, he is thrilled when he gets to meet her again in Srinagar and finally finds out that she is his tour guide, Sona Mathur. After a few misunderstandings, Sona too falls in love with him. Then things change unexpectedly after they meet with an accident, whereby Vijay temporarily loses the use of his legs. When he limps over to Sona’s room, he is told that she has been discharged. And the person she has been discharged with is a young man by the name of Kamal – who is also in love with Sona. Vijay must now find out why Sona has deserted him, and if at all Kamal is the reason behind this desertion.
Tum Bin Sajan Barase Nayan from movie Gaban – Honest Munshi Dayanath works in the administrative office of the Allahabad High Court in 1928 British India, and lives an impoverished lifestyle along with his wife, a grown slacker son, Ramanath, and two younger sons. Without knowing Ramanath’s background, Munshi Dindayal arranges his daughter, Jalpa’s marriage, and she moves in with this family. Unable to pay jeweler Gangaram for jewelry purchased for this wedding, Ramanath steals his wife’s jewelry, and then gets in debt when he gets her a Chandrahaar. In order to pay for this, he works as a Clerk, collecting money for the regime as well as accepting bribes. Circumstances compel him to embezzle Rs.800/- which he is unable to return. Afraid of being arrested, he flees to Calcutta, gets embroiled indirectly in the freedom struggle, gets arrested and will only be set free if he testifies against non-violent freedom-fighters.
