Yaadein – The film is soliloquy of a man who comes home to find that his wife and son are not at home, he assumes that they have left him and reminiscences his life with them, and scared of his life without them, he regrets his past indiscretions.
Hato Tum Baju Hawa Aane Do from movie Albela (2001) – Tony (Govinda) works as a guide, helping tourists, and showing them his native land. Kahi Naam Na Apna Likh Dena from movie Aatish (1979) – Mr. Rai is a wealthy businessman in Jammu, India, and lives in a palatial house with his wife, Shobha, a wheelchair-bound daughter, Ashu, a grown son, Rakesh, and a school-going son, Raju. His son despises him and is waiting him for to die, so that he can inherit all the wealth and spend it on dancing girls, alcohol, and gamblers. One day while Rai was returning from the Jammu & Kashmir Bank with a suitcase full of cash, he is attacked by bandits, but is rescued by a young man named Anand. Anand is injured in this attack and is nursed by Shobha and the rest of the Rai family. Rai himself trusts Anand and initially appoints him as a Chief Supervisor, very much to the chagrin of Rakesh, who attempts, in vain, to implicate Anand in the theft of 2 Lakh Rupees. Anand uses fisticuffs to convince a hoodlum named Girdhari to let go of Rai’s property. These incidents provoke Rai to ask Rakesh to leave the house, and promote Anand as the Manager. What the Rai family do not know is that Anand actually works for Girdhari and enacted this charade just to get in the good books of the Rai family – his motive to steal a golden statue of a Hindu Deity. The question that still remains unanswered is will Anand succeed in his nefarious mission?
Kahee Chal Na De Rat Ka Kya Thikana from movie Ek Shola – Bombay-based tenant, Nirmal Kumar, dramatically meets with his dancer/singer neighbor, Mala Sinha, and both fall in love. They decide to get married and move in together along with their respective servants, Pedro and Mary. Nirmal is confident that his parents, Rai Bahadur Ishwardas and mother, as well as younger brother, Anand, and school-going sister, Usha, will welcome Mala with open arms. When he gets a telegram to come home, he accordingly takes Mala with him and they travel via train. Once there, he and Mala will both get a shock when his parents, who have fixed his marriage with Shobha, the daughter of wealthy Diwan Chamanlal, will not only disapprove of Mala but also humiliate her. When Nirmal attempts to defend her, his enraged father asks them to move out, compelling his mother to object, fall down and pass away. Blaming Mala’s entry in their house as an ill-omen, Ishwardas reiterates that they leave immediately. The question remains: What will Mala and Nirmal do under these circumstances?
Aadha Ishq from movie Band Baaja Baaraat – Shruti (Anushka Sharma) is a 20-something no-nonsense girl from a middle class Delhi household. Focused and determined with preplanned ambitions, her goals in life are well laid out by the time she reaches her final year of college. Bittoo (Ranveer Singh), on the other hand, has no real aim in life. As a final year college student of Delhi University, he whiles away his life having fun with his buddies, barely scraping through his exams. A chance and inopportune meeting (or as you would call it, fate) brings the two of them together on a tumultuous journey where they become partners in their very own, “Wedding planning ka bijness”. The rules however, are clear: “Jisse vyapaar karo, usse kabhi na pyaar karo” (Don’t mix business with pleasure). Together, their friendship and business, enters the ups and downs of the lavish Delhi weddings. And while trying to find themselves, Shruti and Bittoo discover each other and realize that in the course of their journey, unke khud ke rules ki bajegi band.
Mere Bachpan Ke Sathi Mujhe Bhul Naa Jana from movie Anmol Ghadi – School-going Chandrabhan lives a poor lifestyle with his widowed mom in a small town in India, and has a childhood sweetheart named Lata, who is the daughter of the wealthy Deputy. Chandrabhan is heartbroken when Lata leaves town, and he has only a time-piece left with him as a token of their friendship. Years later, Chandrabhan has grown up, and has found employment in a guitar and musical instrument repair shop run by the owner and his friend, Prakash. Chandrabhan, a frequent reader of poetry, is fascinated by the poems of Renuka Devi, and longs to meet her. He does get to meet her, only to find out that the woman in reality is her friend, Basanti, who was impersonating her, as she had fallen in love with him, though he has no similar feelings for her. He does get to meet Renuka Devi, and is pleasantly surprised when he finds out that she is none other than Lata herself. Before Chandrabhan could plan anything else, he finds out that Prakash is getting engaged to Lata; Prakash’s mother hates him; and he decides to return home along with his ailing mom. The question remains will Lata and Chandrabhan be re-united in this lifetime?
Mujhko Nind Aa Rahi Hai Sone Do from movie Ajnabee (2001) – A new couple get married and move to Switzerland. They make friends with their new neighbors Akshay Kumar and Bipasha Basu. Life seems perfect until one day when Raj wakes up in Vicky’s house and finds out that Vicky’s wife has been murdered. Raj is accused of the murder but flees from the authorities in order to prove himself innocent.
Aate Jate Jo Milta Hai Tumsa Lagta Hai from movie Har Dil Jo Pyaar Karega – Raj is a struggling singer with big dreams who is still waiting for his big break. One night he witnesses an accident where a car spins out of control and lands on the tracks of an on-coming train. Raj runs over to the wreckage and rescues the occupant just in time. He takes her to the hospital and the girl’s family are informed. The girl, Pooja Oberoi, survives but is in a vigil coma, a condition whereby she can hear and see everything but cannot speak nor move any part of her body. The Oberoi family is grateful to Raj and are led to believe that he is Pooja’s groom, Romi. Raj is reluctant to accept this but then he changes his mind and accepts being the groom, as he has an agenda of his own and takes advantage of this accident to further his goals. But then he meets Pooja’s best friend Jahnvi and falls in love with her. The situation is complicated even more when Pooja wakes up from the coma and begins to show feelings for Raj.

Yeh Duniya Ek Nambaree Toh from movie Dus Numbri – Inspector Shiv Nath is a honest and diligent police officer in Bombay, and lives with his wife, Radha, and a young son, Arjun. While making several arrests in connection with counterfeit money and drugs, he comes to know that his close friend, Karamchand is also involved in this racket. Before he could take any action, he himself is arrested by the police for possession of fake money and drugs, and sentenced to a jail term, but he escapes and his whereabouts are unknown. Radha loses her mind and is institutionalized, while Arjun takes to petty crime and on reaching adult-hood is the Don of the area known and feared as “Dus Numbri”. He meets with and falls in love with a petty thief and card-sharp, Rosemary Fernandes. When Radha accidentally meets with Rosemary, she thinks it is Sundari, Karamchand’s wife, and then Radha starts to regain her sanity. But not for long, as Arjun, Radha, and Rosemary will soon be enmeshed in a plot that may well rid them of their senses, that is if it does not kill them first.
