Will You Marry Me Song Lyrics and Translation
From the movie – Mard (1985)
kehane ki toh baat nahi hai, phir bhi raha na jaaye
it’s not a thing to say (it’s not necessary to ask), but I can’t even control
will you marry me – (4)
ho o o o kehane ki toh baat nahi hai, phir bhi raha na jaaye
it’s not a thing to say, but I can’t even control
will you marry me – (2)
no yeh no no sorry ji, no no sorry ji, no
no no sorry, no no sorry, no
tak tak tak tak gayi meri jawaani
my youthfulness has come to completeness
abb tak abb tak baat na meri maani
you didn’t listen to me yet
kaise khade ho gum sum, mard kahaan ke ho tum
how you are standing silent/ speechless, from where are you man
kyun sharmaata hai aa na, na ja, na ja, aa ja
why are you shying, come, don’t go, come
le le apani baahon mein, abb mujhase chala na jaaye
take me in your arms, now I can not walk
will you marry me, please, will you marry me
no, yeh no no sorry ji, no no sorry ji
no, no no sorry, no no sorry
kehane ki toh baat nahi hai, phir bhi raha na jaaye
it’s not a thing to say, but I can’t even control
will you marry me – (2)
yeh chup, no no sorry ji, no no sorry ji, no
shut up, no no sorry, no no sorry, no
ruk ruk ruk, chhod bhi de yeh sorry
stop and leave this sorry thing
warana waapas aayegi na baari
otherwise you will not get this turn again
mauke se muh ki mode
you are turning face to a opportunity
dariya mein pyaasa chhode
leaving me thirsty in a river/sea
kyun ghabraata hai bhadhate bhadhate bhadhate bhadhate
why do you get afraid when progressing
gale gale tak aa gaya paani, tair saku na haay
the water has come to chin and I can’t swim
will you marry me – (2)
no, yeh no no sorry ji, no no sorry ji
no, no no sorry, no no sorry
kehane ki toh baat nahi hai, phir bhi raha na jaaye
it’s not a thing to say, but I can’t even control
will you marry me – (2)
are ja na, yeh no no sorry ji, no no sorry ji
don’t go, no no sorry, no no sorry
