Saje Hai Sapano Ke Raaste from movie Dansh – It is one of the rare intelligent movies. some of the the dialogues are unbelievable as i never expected such quality from a bollywood movie. very thoughtful and worth watching. central characters lead good performance. thinking on negative front could be that lyrics and music are not so great. performance by supporting cast could be distracting some times. the conflict between personal and social responsibilities is captured. movie indeed is a gentle reminder that it is possible to leave impact without huge budget. At the same time, it is sad that sch movies don’t get the deserving acclaim. there is no specific high point in movie as it peaks throughout.
Yu Naa Rutho Jan Meree from movie Do Hazaar Ek – Following the brutal slaying of a call-girl named Julie in Bombay city, two police inspectors, namely Anil Sharma and Rajat Bedi, are assigned to investigate and bring the culprit(s) to book. Anil & Rajat note that the killer leaves “2001” marked on the body of the victim. Anil comes to know that the man staying in Julie’s room is a prominent Member of State Parliament, Ramaswamy, and would like to list him as a suspect. Julie’s death is followed by more killings in the same style, and killed are Advocates Sarkari and Kajal, and a man named Krishna Rao. Then Ramaswamy himself is attacked, but survives and is hospitalized. When he regains consciousness for a brief period of time, he points an accusing finger at Rajat and then relapses. Not wanting to take any chance, Police Commissioner Malik has Rajat under house arrest. Then Anil comes across some evidence that links the killing to none other than Malik himself, while Rajat starts to gather together evidence against Anil. The question remains: Is the killer one of these police officers? If so, which one, or are all three collectively involved in these gruesome deaths?
Naseeb Me Jiske Jo Likha Tha from movie Do Badan – Vikas comes from a poor family, and is attending college so that he can complete his studies, get a job, and financially look after himself and his dad. He meets with wealthy Asha at this college, and after a few misunderstandings, both fall in love. Vikas’ dad passes during the exams, and Vikas leaves to attend the funeral, and is unable to complete his studies. Asha feels sorry for him, and arranges to get him employed with her dad, which he does so, not knowing that his employer is Asha’s dad. Asha’s dad wants her to get married to Ashwini, and he soon announces their engagement. Ashwini finds out that Asha is in love with Vikas, and arranges an accident for Vikas. Vikas survives the accident, but loses his eyesight. After this incident, Vikas does not want to burden himself on Asha, and strikes up a new friendship with Dr. Anjali. Meanwhile, Ashwini informs Asha that Vikas has passed away in the accident, and Asha reluctantly marries Ashwini. The question remains, will those Vikas and Asha be able to meet during their lifetimes?
Hasaye Bhee Rulaye Bhee Sataye Bhee from movie Darling – Wealthy executive Aditya Soman, married to Ashwini for several years, and the parent of Akhil, has an affair with his Secretary, Geeta Menon. Both get intimate after he assures her that he will divorce his wife, and marry her. When she gets pregnant, he tells her to abort the child as he has changed his mind about the divorce. Angered, Geeta attacks him, a scuffle ensues, and in the end she gets killed. He buries her body, and returns home to carry on as usual. But not for long, for soon not only will he and his family’s lives will be turned upside when the spirit of Geeta returns to exact vengeance, they will also be the subject of an investigation by the Crime Branch.
Tere Bina Jindagi Se Koi from movie Dil Vil Pyar Vyar – Tells the story of three friends Krish Kumar, Hrithik Mittal and Devdarshan Suri alias Dev, who all are from different walks of life as they strive to win the battle of life consisting of hitting it big in the music industry and to cope with the short-comings in their romance. Then they will find their dreams materializing when they are enrolled in the world’s biggest music competition.
Tum Ne Kisee Se Kabhee Pyar Kiya Hai from movie Dharmatma – Wealthy, powerful and influential Seth Dharamdas leads a financially secure life in a palatial mansion. He is known to come to the aid of all people who are beyond any hope of assistance, and this leads to him being known as “Dharmatma”. But Seth Dharamdas does have a number of skeletons in his closet, and a parallel life as a gangster. The only person Dharamdas hates and fears is none other than his very own son, Ranbir, who has sworn that he will never compromise with his father’s dark career, and threatens to expose him. Dharamdas has never conceded surrender or defeat at the hands of any mortal, and will never even consider to do so – even if this means the death of Ranbir. Songs include “Tere cheherey mein woh jadoo hai…”; “Tum ne kisise kabhi pyar kiya hai, pyar bhara dil kisiko diya hai…”.
Ye Gaya Vo Gaya from movie Deewana Mastana – Raja is a minor league crook who sells railway tickets on the black market at Amirpur station. Tired of his job he looks for new ways to make a quick buck. One day, along with his friend Ghafoor and a police inspector, he robs Rs 2.5 million from the railway treasury. Later, Raja and Ghafoor bump off the inspector and run away with the loot to Bombay. At Bombay airport, Raja sets eyes on Dr Neha and promptly falls in love with the psychiatrist, for that’s what she is. Raja and Ghafoor quickly find out where she lives. Ghafoor pretends to be a psychiatric patient while Raja takes on the name Raj Kumar and befriends her, telling her he has just returned from the US. However, Ghafoor cautions Raja not to hurry and be patient in matters of love. The trouble begins when Bunnu, the son of a wealthy businessman, is sent to Neha for treatment. He is really crazy, and terrified of fire, heights, running and water. Soon, he too falls for Neha and discovers he has a rival in Raja. Suddenly, Neha has to leave for Ooty with her father to attend her uncle’s wedding. She does not leave behind a forwarding address. However, both Raja and Bunnu impersonate policemen and intimidate her secretary into revealing where she’s vamoosed. Dr Neha is thrilled to see them in Ooty, but is drawn closer to the ill Bunnu rather than Raja. Things take an ugly turn when Ghafoor tires to kill Bunnu, who escapes. Bunnu contacts contract killer Pappu Pager to bump off Raja. However, that plan too comes a cropper. Armed with a gold ring and garland, Neha calls Bunnu and Raja to court, ostensibly with the purpose of marriage. Both are surprised to see the other there.
Ho Rasiya Ho Kabhee Ley Chal Too from movie Daasi – After the passing away of her parents, Mangala moves in with her maternal uncle, his wife, and five cousins, who all live a poor lifestyle in a small town. She has a sweetheart in Anoop and hopes to marry him someday. When Anoop hesitates, her marriage is arranged elsewhere, however, on the day of the marriage, the groom meets with an accident and passes away. Her aunt quickly gets her married to a singer named Anand. After the marriage, Mangala is shocked to find that Anand is blind and detests him. When she finds out that he cares for her, she changes her mind and falls in love with him. Then Anoop re-enters her life, Anand finds out, and drives her out. Mangala returns home to her aunt, but she refuses to accept her. Then Mangala finds out that Anand has become a famous singer as well as an alcoholic. She goes to his house in Bombay, gets herself hired as a servant, calls herself Daasi, and pretends to be dumb so that Anand cannot hear her voice and recognize. Eventually she settles in, Anand is pleased with her work, but she also finds out that he hates Mangala; then publicly announces that he is going to marry a dancer by the name of Tara; Tara, catches her stealing a necklace, and to complicate matters even more – Anoop re-enters their lives again.
