Yeshu Song Lyrics in English
(Girje ka gajar sunte ho, yeshu
Phir bhi tum chup rehte ho, yeshu) – 2
Apne chahane walon ko tum kaise chunte ho, yeshu, aaa yeshu
Girje ka gajar sunte ho, yeshu
Phir bhi tum chup rehte ho, yeshu
Kya jism yeh bemaani hai kya rooh gareeb hoti hai – 2
Tum pyaar hi pyaar ho lekin kya pyaar saleeb hoti hai
Rui ki tarah iss jism ko tum kis liye bunte ho, yeshu, yeshu
Girje ka gajar sunte ho, yeshu phir bhi tum chup rehte ho, yeshu
Koi nahin iss waqt yahan iss waqt mujhe apnaana
Aagosh mein apni le lo phir chaahe jahan le jaana
Uss paar toh koi dard nahin
Bolo na sunte ho, yeshu, yeshu
Girje ka gajar sunte ho, yeshu
Phir bhi tum chup rehte ho, yeshu
Apne chahane walo ko tum kaise chunte ho, yeshu
Girje ka gajar sunte ho, yeshu
Phir bhi tum chup rehte ho, yeshu

After the passing of his Pondicherry-born mentor, Susanna, Mumbai-based Dr. Arun Kumar Singh narrates his story to his wife, Nalini. While Susanna herself searched for true love and her marriages with six deceased men – including the abusive Major Edwin Rodrigies; drug-addicted and womanizer guitarist-singer Jamshed Singh Rathore; impotent and abusive Mohammad Wasiullah Khan; bigamist/spy Nicolai Vronski; Inspector Keemat Lal; and Dr. Modhusodon Tarafdar – men who influenced her life, broke her heart – and met with sudden and mysterious deaths.
