Kuch Na Kaho Song Lyrics and Translation
From the movie – 1942 A Love Story
Movie: 1942 A Love Story
Song: Kuch Na Kaho
Kuch na kaho, kuch bhi na kaho – 2
Don’t say anything, don’t say anything at all
Kya kehna hai, kya sunna hai
What is there to say, what is there to hear
Mujhko pata hai, tumko pata hai
I know, you know
Samay ka yeh pal tham sa gaya hai
This moment of time has stopped
Aur is pal mein koi nahin hai
And in this moment there is no one
Bas ek main hoon, bas ek tum ho
There is just me, there is just you
Kuch na kaho, kuch bhi na kaho
Don’t say anything, don’t say anything at all
(Kitne gehre halke shyaam ke rang hai chhalke
How many deep and gentle colors of the evening have spread
Parvat se yun utre baadal jaise aanchal dhalke) – 2
From the mountains rise the clouds like a sari’s hem
Aur is pal mein koi nahin hai
And in this moment there is no one
Bas ek main hoon, bas ek tum ho
There is just me, there is just you
Kuch na kaho, kuch bhi na kaho
Don’t say anything, don’t say anything at all
(Sulgi sulgi saansein, baheki baheki dhadkan
Passionate breaths, staggering heartbeats
Maheke maheke shyaam ke saaye, pighle pighle tan mann) – 2
Fragrant shadows of the evening, melting body and soul
Aur is pal mein koi nahin hai
And in this moment there is no one
Bas ek main hoon, bas ek tum ho
There is just me, there is just you
Kuch na kaho, kuch bhi na kaho
Don’t say anything, don’t say anything at all
Kya kehna hai, kya sunna hai
What is there to say, what is there to hear
Mujhko pata hai, tumko pata hai
I know, you know
Samay ka yeh pal tham sa gaya hai
This moment of time has stopped
Aur is pal mein koi nahin hai
And in this moment there is no one
Bas ek main hoon, bas ek tum ho
There is just me, there is just you
Kuch na kaho, kuch bhi na kaho
Don’t say anything, don’t say anything at all
