Assisted by his paternal uncle, and accompanying his cousin’s friend, Isha, he travels there by car. The duo start squabbling resulting in an accident, and compelling them to hitch a ride on a lorry. While Isha – whose mother is Tamil and father is Punjabi – is opposed to getting married to anyone of her parents’ choice – is upset when she finds out that Rohit’s and her dad are childhood friends and are hoping to get their children married. The duo refuse to marry, and set about creating circumstances that will convince their respective parents to give up the thought of getting them married to each other.
