Socha Tha Kya Kya Ho Gayaa from movie Anmol Ghadi – School-going Chandrabhan lives a poor lifestyle with his widowed mom in a small town in India, and has a childhood sweetheart named Lata, who is the daughter of the wealthy Deputy. Chandrabhan is heartbroken when Lata leaves town, and he has only a time-piece left with him as a token of their friendship. Years later, Chandrabhan has grown up, and has found employment in a guitar and musical instrument repair shop run by the owner and his friend, Prakash. Chandrabhan, a frequent reader of poetry, is fascinated by the poems of Renuka Devi, and longs to meet her. He does get to meet her, only to find out that the woman in reality is her friend, Basanti, who was impersonating her, as she had fallen in love with him, though he has no similar feelings for her. He does get to meet Renuka Devi, and is pleasantly surprised when he finds out that she is none other than Lata herself. Before Chandrabhan could plan anything else, he finds out that Prakash is getting engaged to Lata; Prakash’s mother hates him; and he decides to return home along with his ailing mom. The question remains will Lata and Chandrabhan be re-united in this lifetime?
Zindagi Badli Mohabbat Ka from movie Anhoni – After the tragic death of her dad, Dr. Rekha continues to live with her step-mother in Bombay, where she runs a Mental Institute. While traveling by train one night, they are accosted by a knife wielding escaped mental patient, Sunil, whose aggression is calmed by Rekha. She gets him admitted into her hospital where he is put under observation and treatment at the hands of Dr. Mathur and herself. He soon starts responding positively under their care, and is on his way to recovery. Once he saves Rekha from being molested in a parking lot, and this sparks romance between the two. All is set for the two to get engaged at a lavish party. It is at this party that Rekha will find out that Sunil is not who he claims to be, and subsequently Sunil will also find out that Rekha has a dark secret in her recent past – a secret for which she is being blackmailed by a man named Tiger – and a secret that may well expose her as a murderess!!
Subah Kee Dhup See from movie Dhoop (Non-Film) – Right from Peon to Principal, and from the most lowly menial staff to the office of the Prime Minister, modern secular India is embedded in corruption by officials who brag that even if Mahatma Gandhi were to approach them to grant access to his very own Sabarmati Ashram, he would not be spared. In this era a honest man is defined as one who readily accepts a bribe and does the needful, while a dishonest man is one who accepts a bribe but refuses to do the needful. It is in this atmosphere that the Kapoor family live. This family consists of Suresh Kumar Kapoor, a Professor at a Delhi college; his wife, Sarita, who is a Librarian, and a son who is Captain Rohit in the 7th Jat Regiment of the Indian Army. Suresh is pitted against the corrupt system when he receives word that his son has been killed in Kargil, when the fragile truce between Pakistan and India was broken, resulting in thousands of deaths on both sides. In condolence, Suresh and Sarita receive messages from various army officials, politicians, including the State Chief Minister as well the President of India. Their to-be daughter-in-law, Peehu A. Verma is shattered by Rohit’s death, and decides never to get married. The army offers them a plot of land so that they can open a petrol pump as a means of livelihood. Suresh, Peehu and a reluctant Sarita decide to call it “Kargil Heights” and go about obtaining the necessary documents to get it running, little knowing that the corrupt system will not permit them to take a step forward without bribing it’s officers, of all ranks, who will refuse to issue any permit unless and until their palms are greased. Will Suresh, Sarita and Peehu ever be able to open “Kargil Heights”, or will it just remain a dream?

Sab Yahaan Hai from movie Aao Wish Karein (2009) – Twelve-year old Mickey Mehra lives a middle-classed lifestyle in Simla along with his father, Vikas, mother, Nisha, and sister, Mini. He is friendly with Bonny and Hitchcock, has a crush on 22-year old Mitika, and wishes that he was older so that he could woo and marry her. Hitchcock takes him to a wishing well, asks him to make a wish, and shortly thereafter Mickey turns into a six-foot tall 22-year old male. He leaves home hurriedly, moves in with Bonny, gets hired by Tiku Malhotra, acquaints himself with Mitika and both fall in love with each other. Complications arise when his distraught parents face bankruptcy, while his wish is on the verge of expiry – reverting him back to being a 12-year old again – with no chance of ever getting married to his sweetheart.
