Lag Gaya Bumboo from movie Bumboo – Bumboo movie is based on one simple idea. Every person meets someone, who screws it up and makes life miserable (In the ‘Bambaiyya’ lingo it is called as ‘Vaat Lagna’). In Bumboo the movie each character screws someone or the others happiness. Each situation is humorous and ends up into comedy of errors. Bumboo is based upon “L’emmerduer” which is by Francis Veber.
Mushkil Bada Yeh Pyar Hai from movie Gupt – Jaisingh lives in India with his son, Sahil, who dislikes his father. Things only get worse between father and son, when Jaisingh wants him to get married to Sheetal, a woman he has chosen to be his daughter-in-law. But Sahil wants to marry another girl by the name of Isha, and no amount of pressure can get him to change his mind. Finally, an argument ensues between the two, with Jaisingh getting killed. The Police are summoned, they arrest Sahil, try him in the Indian courts, convict him, but instead of giving him the death sentence, they put him in jail for life. A defiant Sahil, who still maintains his innocence, finds a way to escape, with the authorities hot on his tail, and leading this chase is a senior policeman by the name of Udham Singh, who has never been known to fail in his job of apprehending runaways and other criminals.
Jhuk Gayi Aankhe Teree Raho Pe from movie Bhola Bhaala – Ram Kumar Verma is an honest albeit unsuccessful Insurance Agent. His poor performance and a quick settlement for Renu and her mom gets him transferred to Madhya Pradesh. During the train journey he comes across Nathu Singh, and thinking that Nathu is an emperor of sorts, gets him to insure himself for Rs.5 lakhs, to which Nathu Singh agrees. Ram Verma returns to his company and is heartily congratulated by his Manager and the General Manager even throws a party for Ram. Subsequently, the Manager realizes that the person Ram has insured is actually a wanted dacait and thug commonly known as Daku Nathiya, wanted by the police dead or alive. Fearing the collapse of the insurance company, the Manager coerces Ram to return to Madhya Pradesh and get Nathiya to cancel his insurance policy. Ram, in the interest of the insurance company, readily agrees and on the way to meet Nathiya, ends up saving Nathiya’s son from a burning house, thus earning Nathiya’s and his woman, Champa’s gratitude. Ram finds out that Nathiya was otherwise known as Nathu Singh, a honest villager, with a beautiful wife, and a son Chander. A rich village lord, Thakur Ajit Singh, rapes and kills Nathu’s wife, and as Nathu is unable to get justice, he turns into Nathiya, the dacait. Ram only wants Nathiya to cancel the policy, so that he can return home, and promises not to inform the police. Nathiya agrees to cancel the insurance policy and let Ram return home. But Sambha is not pleased with the favors being showered on Ram and rebels, and forces Nathiya to keep Ram prisoner. When Nathiya is injured, Champa asks Ram to bring in a medical doctor, and Ram brings Renu, and ultimately both Ram and Renu are also held by Sambha, while Nathiya lies unconscious. Meanwhile the police have launched a dragnet to capture Nathiya dead of alive. Will Ram and Renu return home to Ram’s mother and sister, Sarla and his best friend Babu Khan? Will Nathiya and Champa survive the police dragnet?
Kaise Kaise Hai Mere Meherbaan from movie Andar Baahar (1984) – Successful in robbing a bank of huge sums of cash; criminal don, Shamsher Singh alias Shera refuses to part the loot with his accomplice, Raja and instead try to shoot him which results in the police apprehending both Raja and Shera. The court then sentence both to a long jail term but Shera manages to escape; many attempts by the police to re-arrest Shera proves fertile prompting inspector Ravi Khanna to seek permission from the police commissioner to let Raja out on parole for a period of one week. Raja agrees to assist Ravi but prove difficult to handle at first; as they get acquainted with each other the mission becomes much easier.
Bambai Ke Yeh Babu from movie Hum Sab Ustad Hain – Romi (Sheikh Mukhtar) shoots a man but does not kill him. A bullet fired from somewhere else does the job but he is arrested, convicted and sentenced for the murder. His pregnant wife Radha (Lalita Kumari) throws herself in the river but is saved by a village that accepts her and her soon born son Ram (Dara Singh). After 14 long years in jail, Romi roams 8 long years being rejected by society and cannot find a job or assistance, then turns to violent crime. His gang is offered a large sum of money to smuggle national secrets out of the area, so he kidnaps a young child and forces her sister Roopa (Ameeta) to carry the goods. Roopa would rather die than become a traitor, loses control of her car and is cast into the river, washing ashore in the same village with Radha and Ram. Meanwhile, unemployed Kishore (Kishore Kumar) decides he will play detective to find the lost girl Radha and her sister, tracks her to the village and falls in love. Romi and his gang also track Roopa and they flee to the city to save her sister, where Ram is employed as a wrestler.

Main Ek Deewana Ladka from movie Deewanapan – Suraj Saxena (Arjun Rampal) lives in a remote hill station in India with his dad (Om Puri), mom (Smita Jaykar), and sister, Asha (Amita Nangia). One day he meets with Kiran Choudhary (Diya Mirza), who has come on holiday trip with a group of girls. He offers to show her around and they fall in love with each other. Suraj is unable to see her home by the train as his dad has chest pains and has to be rushed to hospital. But Suraj is unable to get Kiran out of his mind and heart. After his sister get’s married, the family decide to relocate to Bombay, where Suraj enlists in College and makes several new friends, as well as becomes a popular football player. He eventually meets Kiran and both renew their romance. Ranvir Choudhary (Vinod Khanna) does not appreciate the attentions of a poor man like Suraj on his daughter, and has Suraj brought up before him and introduced to his many friends, which include prominent lawyers, politicians, high ranking civil and municipal employees, the police commissioner as well as the state chief minister. Suraj is warned of dire consequences if he and his family do not leave town immediately. Suraj does not leave town, and hell descends on his family and himself. His mother is unable to purchase food and is publicly humiliated; his father is followed around by Ranvir’s goons, harassed, and robbed, and then faces the ultimate humiliation of being publicly arrested, handcuffed, and imprisoned on charges of conspiring against the country and loses his job; and some of Suraj’s friends exile him. With so much pressure, will Suraj relent and leave the city, or will he let his dad rot in prison? Ranvir has sworn to kill Suraj, and if he does so, what will happen to Suraj’s mom?
