Deewana Mujhko Log Kahen from movie Deewana – Kajal is a beautiful and talented young woman who loves songs and dances and attends various shows. At one of the shows she attended she gets to meet Ravi, a popular singer and both are head over heel in love with each other and they soon got married. Kajal relocates to Ravi’s parental mansion and is all welcome as a bride there. But soon her marriage life goes over the board when Ravi’s scheming cousin and uncle has him killed. Unable to bear the shock Kajal relocates to a different city and gets to meet the wealthy and care-free Raja Sahai, who proposes marriage to her but she refuses and wants to live as Ravi’s widow but destiny has other plans for her.
Tum Bin Jiwan Kaise Bita from movie Anita – Wealthy Anita and office-worker Neeraj almost elope, but her father interrupts the wedding. Neeraj tries to contact Anita, but finds that she is now engaged to Anil Sharma. Later, a heartbroken Neeraj reads in the newspaper that Anita has committed suicide. Bhul Gaye Kyu De Ke Sahara from movie Anokhi Ada (1948) – Prakash and his beautiful sister live an impoverished lifestyle in a rented room in Bombay. They do not even have enough to eat and are three months behind in their rent. The neighborhood has put pressure on their landlord to evict them as they suspect his sister of being overly friendly with a homeless male who calls himself Laatsaheb. Things only get worse after Prakash is killed and his sister decides to re-locate by train. While traveling she finds her co-passenger is none other than Laatsaheb – who confesses that he loves her. Before she could respond, the train meets with an accident, he survives with minor injuries but she loses her memory, is hospitalized and presumed to have lost her mind also. She manages to escape and ends up with Imperial College’s Professor Nath – who gets smitten by her beauty, calls her Kamini, assures her that she has always lived with him, and decides not to treat her medically – so that she can be his forever.
Dhire Dhire Bol Koyee Sun Naa Le from movie Gora Aur Kala – The Emperor of a distant Kingdom in India is overjoyed when his wife gives birth to twin sons. Before he could announce his joy openly, his enemies, Zoravar and Shamsher, take over the castle, killing him instantly. His loyal employees, Prithvi and Dilawar, escape with the children – one son ends up with a blood disorder that discolors his skin and leaves his left arm paralyzed, and is left with a dacoit. The other son is brought up by Army Chief Prithvi Singh, while the empress herself is held captive. Years later, the sons have grown up, the one with the dacoits is called kaali Singh, while the other is called Karan. The twins come to know of each other’s existence, they reunite, and free their mother. But there is one thing that divides the twin – the beautiful Princess Anuradha. He is romantically pursued by a Tangewali, Shefali, whose life will face turmoil when her estranged mother – who had married a male of another faith and converted to Christianity – re-enters her life. While Satyaprakash continues to provide for ever-needy Mahesh, another woman, Renuka, the daughter of a lawyer, is also attracted to him. Then his life will be turned upside when his unique teaching methods will not only be questioned but he will be arrested and charged with killing a pregnant Renuka.
Woh Chaand Khila Woh Taare Hanse from movie Anari – 1959 – Raj Kumar is an honest, handsome and intelligent young man to boot. He works as a sole Trader therefore a painter by trade, but unable to earn a living, and unable to pay rent to his kind-hearted but talkative landlady, Mrs. D’sa. One day Raj finds a wallet containing money, and he returns it to the owner, Ramnath. Ramnath admires Raj and pleased with his honesty employs him to work in his office as a Receptionist. Raj meets with Ramnath’s maidservant, Asha, and soon both fall in love. This all ends when Raj finds out that Asha is really Aarti, the daughter of his employer. He then alienates himself from his employer and his daughter, and looks after his ailing landlady by cooking and serving her daily meals. Unfortunately, she passes away suddenly. The police conduct a post-mortem, and as a result find out that Mrs. D’sa was poisoned. Raj became the prime suspect and is subsequently taken for questioning, and is arrested and held in a cell. Later on Raj planned a narrow escape which was successful and goes out to find evidence to prove his innocence.
Yeh Kya Kiya Re Duniyawale from movie Beti – Sudha Verma wants to be the ideal daughter for her dad, and mom. Unfortunately, her mom passes away, and her dad re-marries, this time to Kamla, who is self-serving and not at all interested to see Sudha marry and settle down. Sudha meets with Dr. Rajesh Anand, and both fall in love. All approve of the marriage, until Rajesh sees the invitation card for Sudha’s marriage, and realizes that his marriage has been arranged with Sharda, and that Sudha is to marry Rakesh. Rajesh attempts to straighten this out, but idealistic Sudha does not agree as she does not want to embarass her dad. Unfortunately, Sudha marriage does not take place, as the dowry money has been stolen. Rajesh returns and hopes to marry Sudha, but finds that Sudha and her dad are missing, and are untraceable, and then returns home to find a look-alike of Sudha, who calls herself Asha, but denies ever being or knowing anyone named Sudha Verma.

Wakt Karataa Jo Wafaa from movie Dil Ne Pukara – Asha lives a wealthy lifestyle in Bombay with her widowed dad, who would like her to get married to Dr. Prakash. While vacationing in Kashmir, she meets with a young man, Rajan, and both fall in love with each other. When she returns home and attends Dr. Prakash’s birthday party, she gets a pleasant surprise when she finds out that Rajan is Prakash’s friend. Rajan introduces Asha to his mom, while Asha introduces Rajan to her dad, and both parents approve of their match. Before they can get engaged, Rajan had promised his late father that he would obtain a degree from Oxford University, and be back after one year. He decides to travel by boat, which meets with an accident and there are no survivors. A shocked and devastated Asha finds out that Rajan’s death has killed her dad, and she throws herself in her work as a doctor, working side by side with Prakash. After 3 years, Rajan’s mom asks both Prakash and Asha to get married, they agree, and are formally engaged. It is here that Asha learns that Prakash has always been in love with her, and had sacrificed his affections for Rajan. Then a day later, Prakash finds out that a male resembling Rajan has been admitted in their hospital but is unable to remember anything. While all are overjoyed, this male is unable to recognize anyone, including his very own mom. Prakash and Asha decide that they must find out what happened to this male, and where was he for the last 3 years. They do not knowing that the findings will change their lives forever.
