I am a fan of old Hindi movies, Bollywood & Hollywood.This movie easily goes in my Top 5 list. What a gem. Kishore always does it better!I love how to movie starts with and then it takes you and the whole community in the movie to the journey. Whether it is Kishore, the heroin, the dhobi, the father, mother, Kishor’s sister and his employees… Each one is attach to this life of Madan and you get to see the prescriptive of all of them. This is really how Indian families area. We just need to cut some crap out of our culture. I cried 2 – 3 times in the movie and the Maximum that i got tears was one time in one movie. I haven’t got tears in my eyes for more than 1 time per movie. This movie gave me sheer joy and happiness.

Both get married and decide to settle down and live life honestly. But trouble comes knocking on their door again – this time it’s Ram’s brother, Harnam, who wants Ram to join him in smuggling. Ram, initially refuses, but when Meena is abducted, he relents and joins his brother in a career of crime – a change that will have disastrous results for Meena and himself.
