Pyar Bantate Chalo from movie Hum Sab Ustad Hain – Romi (Sheikh Mukhtar) shoots a man but does not kill him. A bullet fired from somewhere else does the job but he is arrested, convicted and sentenced for the murder. His pregnant wife Radha (Lalita Kumari) throws herself in the river but is saved by a village that accepts her and her soon born son Ram (Dara Singh). After 14 long years in jail, Romi roams 8 long years being rejected by society and cannot find a job or assistance, then turns to violent crime. His gang is offered a large sum of money to smuggle national secrets out of the area, so he kidnaps a young child and forces her sister Roopa (Ameeta) to carry the goods. Roopa would rather die than become a traitor, loses control of her car and is cast into the river, washing ashore in the same village with Radha and Ram. Meanwhile, unemployed Kishore (Kishore Kumar) decides he will play detective to find the lost girl Radha and her sister, tracks her to the village and falls in love. Romi and his gang also track Roopa and they flee to the city to save her sister, where Ram is employed as a wrestler.
Kholake Rakhana Darwaaja from movie Hum Se Na Jeeta Koi (1983) – Sunder Singh lives with his wife, Lajwanti, and three sons, Bheema, Kishan, and Vijay, in a small town in India. His two elder sons are slackers and up to mischief and wrestling. They find they can better their lives if they buy a tractor to till the land. Lajwanti comes up with jewelery and the brothers recover the rest of the money on hold with Lala Bhagwandas, and set forth to buy a tractor. They re-locate to the city and team up with their police inspector brother Vijay. Watch as hilarious events unfold that will encompass the trio in crime, romance, and jail-time, as they try to diligently fulfill their parents’ wishes.
Jivan Hai Ek Sapna from movie Honeymoon (1973) – Two close friends, Neelu and Madhu, agree that men cannot be trusted, and as such decide to dump their current boyfriends, and marry someone else who meets with the approval of their parents. Shortly thereafter, Madhu is introduced to Chandrakant, whom she likes, and soon both are married. On their honeymoon, she meets with Neelu, who has married Deepak, also her parents’ choice. Both are delighted to see other, and cannot wait to meet the others’ spouse, little realizing the shock they will get when they do so.
Yaaron Pe Kurbaan Hone Yaar Aaye Hai from movie Geraftaar (1985) – Kishan Kumar Khanna is a well-rate film actor who falls head over heels in love with young, beautiful and attractive Anuradha Saxena much to the dislikeness of her gangster brother who wastes no time in entrapping Kishan in a web of lies and deceits and gets him imprisoned for life. While in jail, Kishan reaches up with his long lost elder brother Karan who has been sentenced for life charged with murdering the Police Commissioner son, Vijay Sinha. Together they both plotted a scheme which will only benefit them in granting revenge from there perpetrators.
Yeh Waada Karo Na Royoge Tum from movie Haadsaa (1983) – Asha lives a poor lifestyle with her parents in Bombay. When her mom passes away, her dad takes to alcohol in a big way, and also brings home her stepmother, who is also an alcoholic and dislikes Asha. When Asha befriends Guddu, she throws him our of the house. In anger, Asha pushes her down the stairs and kills her. When she grows up, her father sells her to R.K. Chakravarty for a suitcase full of cash. Chakravarty marries her, but she remains frustrated, as he is impotent, incapable of loving her. Then she gets a parrot as a pet. When the parrot attempts to fly away, she clips it’s wings. When her car breaks down, she has it serviced at Auto Services, and when motor mechanic, Jaikumar Sharma, returns it to her house, she thinks her friend Guddu has returned, seduces and gets intimate with Jai. She frequently breaks her car down, and asks Jai to repair it, but he refuses to be seduced by her nor gets intimate with her. When she finds out that he has fallen in love with a girl named Robby, she decides to do away with her – and whosoever even attempts to stand in her and Jai’s way.
Jaipur Ki Choli Mangawa De from movie Gehri Chaal (1973) – Dharamchand is the Chair of Olympic Bank, which is due for a final audit by the 30th of the month. Shortly thereafter, his daughter, Hema, finds his dead body in his bedroom. She phones her brother, Ratan, who arrives, finds a suicide note in his dad’s room, clarifying that he had embezzled 20 lakhs from the bank, is unable to repay it, and hence is killing himself. Ratan decides to protect the good name of the family and does not tell anyone about the suicide note to anyone, including Hema. Shortly thereafter, Ratan is approached by a blackmailer named Shekhar, who threatens to expose Ratan’s secret if Ratan does not participate in a bank robbery that will take place two days before the final audit. Ratan assists him, the robbery takes place, the money is looted, all bank records are burnt, and the robbers make a successful getaway. Ratan is relieved that his problem has been resolved and the family name is not tarnished. The only problem is that Hema saw the robbers in action, and is able to identify one of them, a woman named Shobha. When she tells Ratan, he asks her to keep this information a secret. Then Ratan’s friend, Sagar, arrives from Delhi for a visit, and it is here that Ratan will find out that Sagar is in a profession that has made him a suspect with the police, and may rip open the secret that Ratan has been trying to hide from the world.
Priye Praneshvaree from movie Hum Tum Aur Woh – Vijay meets with Aarti and falls in love with her. Unable to convince her of his good intentions, he disguises himself as a teacher and woes her. She finds out about this, and eventually also falls in love with him. Vijay finds out that Aarti’s dad, Shyamlal, is in danger of being killed. His attempts to warn him are ridiculed. However, Shyamlal does get killed, and the only suspect is none other than Vijay, who was apprehended at the scene of the crime by the police. In trying to prove his innocence, Vijay finds out that the odds are stacked up against him, and that no one, including Aarti herself, really believes him.
Danke Ki Chot Se from movie Hum Hai Lajwaab (1984) – Thakur is a wealthy, principled, and punctual man, who will not tolerate anything, even music in his palatial home. Thakur’s only motto in life is money, and each and every second is spent on making and earning money. His elder son, Amar Kumar rebels against this, and is warned. But Amar does not heed this warning, and falls in love with a poor gypsy girl, Jyoti, and both elope in order to escape the wrath of his dad. Thakur second son, Pawan Kumar, is sent away abroad so that there are no lingering bad influences on his life. Years later, Pawan returns home, and is the exact cold-hearted and arrogant image as his dad. Amar and his wife give birth to a son, and Amar writes to his dad to forgive him. Shortly thereafter the couple pass away, leaving their son, with Jyoti’s sister, Dilruba. Thakur decides to forgive his late son and asks Pawan to go and bring his grandson home. Pawan sets forth to get his nephew, with the help of MGM, and meets a host of less-than-fortunate people. His attitude does not get him anywhere with Dilruba and he is forced to assume another identity, that of Aashiq, to try and get his nephew home. He does succeed in pulling wool over Dilruba’s eyes and both eventually fall in love with each other – little knowing that his dad has already planned his marriage with wealthy Meenakshi and if he refuses he may suffer the same fate as Amar.
Sachchaai Chhup Nahin Sakti from movie Dushman – Sonia and Naina Sehgal (both played by Kajol) are twins. The two are completely different from each other, Sonia being the outgoing twin and Naina being the shy twin. At the same time the police are hunting for a killer and rapist. The man Gokul Pandit (Ashutosh Rana) is a cold-blooded animal and has chosen Naina for his next target. However tragedy strikes when Gokul brutally kills Sonia. Naina is distraught and vows to hunt down Gokul. Gokul soon goes after Naina and she realizes she needs help to overcome her fear of him. With that she meets Suraj Singh Rathod (Sanjay Dutt), a retired and blind major and he helps her physically and mentally to defeat her fear of Gokul. After an argument Suraj refuses to meet Naina and she decides to go after Gokul alone without the help of the police or Suraj.
