[verse 1]
vo gumanaam mila yahaan: kahata rahanuma
kyoon rukate kadam yahaan? raste beshumaar
milate hain jo gulistaan chand roz
chalata chal too, na gin unake ab nishaan
[verse 2]
kyoon sunate rahe phir vahee daastaan?
kah kuchh too naya yahaan, choop kyoon, rahanuma?
chand rivaazon se likhata hai taqadeer
us buzadil pe hansata hai aasamaan
[verse 3]
gustaakh hai, jo kal mein jiya hai
poochho use kya hastee hai, kya pahachaan hai
firadaus kya, ek khvaab
[outro]
gustaakh hai, jo kal mein jiya hai
poochho use kya hastee hai, kya pahachaan hai
firadaus kya, ek khvaab
